A wealthy Manhattan woman has filed a lawsuit against her new husband after he tricked her into giving him $744,000 from her trust fund to pay off his supposed gambling debts, when in reality he used the money to lavish his New Jersey mistress.

In the $10.7 million lawsuit, filed with the Manhattan Supreme Court, against her estranged husband and his lover, Candice Feinberg states, "Steven Lalicata was stealing the money to live a double life."

Shortly after the couple wed in March of 2011, Lalicata began claiming he owed money to the Howard Beach gangsters, and the group was threatening to hurt him and Feinberg if he didn't pay them back.

Feinberg found the whole situation strange and hired a private eye which led her to the truth.

The scheme was an elaborate concoction of lies by Lalicata, his cousin and a friend, who joined forced to 'steal large sums of money" from Feinberg.
