Oh man, that had to be hard to deal with.

An Irish competitive mountain biker had an erection that lasted seven weeks after he fell on the crossbar, doctors reported in a case study published in January's Irish Medical Journal.

The 22-year-old man went to see doctors at a Dublin hospital after suffering with priapism - the prolonged unwanted erection for more than four hours without there being sexual stimulation - for five weeks. The man had perineal pain, swelling and bruising along with the rigid erection. "Manual compression" relieved the man of his symptoms, but the blood quickly returned to the penis.

It took two weeks, but urologists were able to relieve the man of his constant erection and he did not suffer any side effects after he was healed.
