A Kansas City high school teacher who allegedly showed pornography to his class has been put on paid administrative duty, and the two students who reported it have been suspended.
According to KCTV, a photo of a naked woman in a compromising position was displayed to the class when the teacher switched on the overhead projector, which was connected to his laptop.
A female student took a photo of the inappropriate image and sent it to her boyfriend, who then sent it to his friend. It wasn't long before the photo ended up on Facebook.
The couple ended up being suspended by school officials for "inappropriate use of electronics," according to Laura Lester, the girl's mother.
Karen Winkel, the boy's mother, told KCTV she believes her son got in trouble because the school was trying to hide something.
Both parents have been unable to reverse the suspensions after meeting with school administrators.
