An Idaho woman gave birth to her daughter while driving to a doctor's appointment earlier this week.

"I think the baby is in my pant leg," Shawna Uriguen, 29, of Burley told her fiance Clay Crown, 36, in a phone call during her drive Tuesday.

Crown told the Twin Falls Times-News that Uriguen had a couple of mild contractions, then one that "kind of took her breath away" and the baby arrived.

"I told her to put the baby on her chest and try to keep calm," he said. Then he called 911 and paramedics rushed to help Uriguen.

Uriguen and her six pound, seven ounce baby girl, named Kimber Marie, were taken to hospital and are doing fine.

Uriguen said the baby was due Saturday, but the little girl "had other intentions and wanted to get here more quickly."
