MONTREAL — Police say a Quebec man in his 50s called 911 on the band Journey, for playing too loudly at an outdoor music festival near his home, and threatened to head over to the concert with rifle if they didn't turn it down.

Journey was playing a concert on the Plains of Abraham as part of Quebec City's Summer Music Festival.

The man lives across the river from the Plains in Levis, Que.

Police told QMI Agency they took his threat seriously and tracked him down to arrest him at about 2 a.m. Monday. He was not carrying a rifle at the time, police said.

The man was due to appear in a Quebec City courtroom on Monday. Police said he could be charged with uttering death threats.
