In a quest to pull off the perfect dine-and-dash, an Alberta woman allegedly forgot the most important part.
The Red Deer woman was arrested in Brandon, Manitoba on Monday morning after police say she and two friends attempted to skip out on their bill at a restaurant.
The Brandon Police Service said the trio racked up a bill of $141.67 and then bailed before paying.
But, there was one problem: The accused left her purse behind.
When she returned, police arrested here and charged her with food by fraud.
She was held at the Brandon Correctional Centre and was scheduled to make a court appearance in Brandon provincial court on Monday.
