WINNIPEG - A Brandon's man's debaucherous night got him in trouble with family court.

Police say they found the 36-year-old with his pants around his ankles, passed out on the hood of a car early Saturday.

"It's not real common, but it does happen more than you'd think," said Brandon police spokesperson Sgt. Mike Tosh.

The man was not in medical distress and was not sent to the hospital.

"Just intoxicated," Tosh said.

Tosh told QMI Agency that neighbours were "worried about somebody passed out in the car, in the situation he was in, I guess."

But now, a family maintenance enforcement warrant has been issued since the man "is involved in family maintenance issues and he's not complying under the Family Maintenance Act," Tosh said.

It's not clear what bearing the warrant will have on the man's family law situation.

But the warrant is for failing those conditions, not public indecency.

"It's not really part and parcel. Just the fact that we came across him at random and found him, is why there's a warrant for arrest," Tosh said.
