TORONTO -- It looks like Sarah Palin has been caught red handed.
During the National Tea Party Convention that took place over the weekend, former Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin was invited and paid $100,000 to deliver a speech to the convention.
In her speech, a confident Palin poked fun at U.S. President Barack Obama, calling him a “Charismatic guy with a teleprompter.” She also targeted Obama supporters and the current administration, asking them, “How’s that hopey changey stuff working out for ya?”
But Palin may have needed a teleprompter herself.
After delivering her address, Palin was invited to a Q&A period where she was asked, “What do you think are the top three things that have got to be done?”
“We’ve got to start reigning in the spending obviously,” Palin responded as she glanced at her hand where she had apparently written her ‘cheat notes.’
Video of her recent flub has been posted on YouTube by a user ImStupidSarahPalin. The video has already been viewed over 200,000 times.
