Boy who found condom may have an STD
By QMI Agency

A 4-year-old boy may have contracted a sexually-transmitted disease after finding a condom in his family's Atlanta hotel room.

The boy thought the used condom was a balloon and tried to inflate it with his mouth, CBS News reported.

“I ran out the bathroom and my grandson had a condom in his mouth," Carmen Jones, the boy's grandmother, told CBS. "His tongue was in the condom and he was trying to blow it up. I immediately took it out of his mouth and he thought it was a balloon, that he was blowing up a balloon.”

The hotel's regional manager confirmed that a condom was found in the room and that an investigation was in progress.

But in the meantime, the boy's family is eyeing him nervously. Shortly after trying to inflate the condom, he became ill, developed a fever and vomiting. He then had small white blisters all around his mouth where he had come in contact with the condom.

The family is now awaiting blood tests to see if he has an infection.
