House guest accused in dismemberment
By QMI Agency
A 39-year-old man is accused of shooting and dismembering a Michigan couple whose bodies were found floating in the Detroit River last week. The Wayne County Prosecutor's Office said Roger Bowling faces two counts of first-degree murder, mutilation of a body, tampering with evidence and a firearm offence. A fisherman found the decapitated bodies of Chris Hall, 42, and Danielle Greenway, 32, last Tuesday in the Detroit River, which separates Detroit from Windsor, Ont., and in a nearby creek. The floating body parts were discovered alongside a circular saw and suitcase, the Detroit Free Press reports. The prosecutor's office alleges Bowling had been a house guest of the slain couple when he shot and dismembered them at their home on July 16. Reports say Bowling is Greenway's ex-boyfriend. Police arrested him Thursday.
