An anchorwoman in Wisconsin who took a moment out of the morning newscast to confront a bully who sent her an e-mail to criticize her weight has earned international attention for her efforts.

Jennifer Livingston, a television personality for CBS WKBT in La Crosse, said on air Tuesday she wanted to take a stand against bullying and shared the "hurtful" e-mail with viewers.

The La Crosse man, Kenneth Krause, wrote: "I was surprised indeed to witness that your physical condition hasn't improved for many years. Surely you don't consider yourself a suitable example for this community's young people, girls in particular."

Nearly 1.9 million people have watched the clip on YouTube as of Wednesday morning.

"You know nothing about me but what you see on the outside. And I am much more than a number on the scale, " said Livingston, a mother of three young girls.

Livingston said bullying is rabid on the Internet and in schools, and she hopes her rebuttal will raise awareness.

She also thanked the thousands of people for their supportive Facebook messages and e-mails.
