Armed thieves made off with as much as $1.3 million worth of electronics in a heist at an Apple store in Paris on New Year's Eve, reports say.

The masked culprits reportedly broke into the rear entrance of the retailer at about 9 p.m. after the store closed. A janitor was attacked and suffered minor injuries.

The men stole boxes of stocked goods, loaded them into a nearby truck and took off at about 9:40 p.m. Four or five men are believed to have been involved in the robbery.

Police are searching for suspects and reviewing security footage.
