With President Barack Obama welcoming Sunny, their second Portuguese water dog to the family, feline lovers are left wondering – Where’s the cat!?

A cat hasn’t set paws in the White House since 2009. President George W. Bush’s cat, India, died just two-weeks before Obama’s inauguration.

The Obama’s also own 4-year-old Bo, stating they can only own hypoallergenic pets due to daughter Malia’s allergies.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Stephen Harper is a huge advocate of owning and adopting pet cats. His cat, Stanley, has often been seen in photos with him on Twitter and other social media sites. He also owns another cat named Gypsy, but claims the feline has “no patience” for the camera.

Here's what Twitter had to say about the Obamas lack of love for cats.
