The murder trial of an Australian man charged with killing his Canadian fiancee two years ago was shown footage of him panicking during the elevator ride down to the main floor of an apartment building, where her body lay.
The video also shows him dragging the woman inside their apartment before taking the elevator from the 15th floor to the lobby.
Simon Gittany, 39, has pleaded not guilty to murdering ballerina Lisa Harnum and maintains she stepped over the railing of their apartment and lost her footing.
According to news.com.au, the court heard Gittany said he'd "stopped her" leaving the apartment and said "shut the f--- up" when she "raised her voice."
"I saw her step over the railing (of the balcony) onto the little cliff face . . . I was grabbing her (and) she was gone."
Det. Jacob Rex said Gittany told him the couple had been arguing in the lead-up to her death.
