U.S. Vice President Joe Biden made a surprise visit to a pancake house in Arizona Friday to pitch Obamacare to the locals, except the first person he sat down beside happened to be a Canadian woman named Jackie.

The video by TV station KTVK shows Biden touching Jackie's arm as he sits down beside the tourist on a bench outside the Scottsdale restaurant.

"Everybody young signs up for healthcare. It's affordable, you can get subsidies to do it. It's in your interest, and if you don't even want to do it for yourself, do it for your parents, give them piece of mind," he told Jackie as she smiled back at him.

She later told the TV station she wasn't sure what to say to the vice president, but "he's for it (Obamacare), I'm for it, I hope it works out here."

The station has removed the video from their website, but it was posted by Mediaite.com.
