A 31-year-old Utah woman faces arson charges after police say she left a pound of bacon burning on her ex-boyfriend's wood stove in a bid to get back at him, KSL TV reported.
Police say Cameo Adawn Crispi's ex first called them after Crispi had called and texted numerous times in an hour and he didn't want her at his home in Naples.
Police say when they arrived they saw smoke coming from the house, and once inside discovered a wood stove burning with the doors open and coals on the floor, the TV station reported. A pound of bacon was smoking and burning on a cookie sheet on top of the stove, with the burner on high.
The fire was quickly extinguished, police say.
It's alleged Crispi told doctors she started the fire to get back at her ex.
