Monica Lewinsky thinks she might have been the first person to be Internet-shamed.

This from an upcoming issue of Vanity Fair in which Lewinsky, for the first time, opens up about her affair with former U.S. president Bill Clinton and says the media humiliation in the aftermath made her suicidal.

It was the 2010 suicide of Rutgers University student Tyler Clementi, who was also shamed for intimacy that was meant to be private, that convinced the former Clinton courtesan to tell her story.
