1. PK Subban gives reporter a big ‘ol kiss

Canadiens defenceman PK Subban can’t contain his excitement. After Montreal beat Boston Wednesday night, NBC’s Pierre McGuire mentioned that Subban's team has made it to the Eastern Conference final.

“Yeah, baby!” Subban said, giving him a huge smooch on the cheek.

2. We may never know #whatjayzsaidtosolange

Beyonce has released a statement regarding the elevator fight between her sister and husband Jay-Z, saying whatever the issue was, they’ve “worked through it.”

“Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family."

3. Roommates unite couch cash with rightful owner

Talk about a good news story...

A group of roommates in New Paltz, N.Y., discovered $41,000 in cash stashed in their used chesterfield. The roommates tracked down couch's former owner, a senior woman, and returned her money.



4. B.C. apologizes for being racist

The B.C. government addressed its legacy of racism against Chinese-Canadians - including the head tax - with a formal apology yesterday.

As QMI Agency’s Jeremy Nuttall reports, the apology didn’t go far enough for some.


5. California wildfires create ‘firenadoes’

At least 125,000 people have had to flee their homes due to wildfires in the San Diego area.
