1. Murder charges in Calgary

There's a tragic ending in the case of a missing boy and his grandparents. Murder charges are being laid against Douglas Garland, who was previously identified as a person of interest in the disappearance of Alvin, 66, Kathryn Liknes, 53, and Nathan O'Brien, five.

The bodies have not been found.

2. Norah Jones gets cheeky

Today is the release date of Norah Jones’s new album with country-roots side project Puss N Boots, and she hopes it will be a good accompaniment to lovin' solo.

“I think people should only listen to this album while masturbating,” she joked with QMI Agency's Mark Daniell.

"That’s the only way they can listen to it."

3. Derby highlights

Jose Bautista was billed as a Yankee thanks to an ESPN graphics error and Giancarlo Stanton nearly hit one out of the park. It was a Home Run Derby worthy of all the .GIFs it produced.
