1. Milos brings the goods

Finally some good news on the court at the Rogers Cup. Milos Raonic, the only Canadian remaining in the tournament, won a tough match 6-4, 7-6(2) 7-6(4) against Jack Sock of the U.S. last night.

Tonight, the Thornhill, Ont., native advances to the third round, taking on Julien Benneteau, who is ranked 47th in the world.


2. More trouble for Brazeau

The downward spiral continues for disgraced senator Patrick Brazeau, who is about to have his house seized by the bank.

Scotiabank has been trying to get him to turn over the keys since January, and now a judge says he has until Friday.

Brazeau, who recently completed a stint in rehab, is facing drug and battery charges, as well as charges related to his Senate expenses.


3. Jeff Goldblum helps with wedding photo

Jesse Sargent and wife Pamela of Toronto have a wedding photo they can brag about until they're fossils.

Jurassic Park actor Jeff Goldblum, who was the date of a friend of the bride, agreed to pose for a T-Rex chase photo with the bridal party.

"T-Rex chases bridal party ... thank god Dr. Ian Malcom was there to save the day!! #pjmuskokamarriage #jeffgoldblum," the bride said on her Facebook page.

4. Ontario girl in Gaza to return

A Brantford, Ont., eight-year-old who has been stuck in Gaza is coming home after nearly two months in the warn-torn region.

Salma Abuzaiter had accompanied her father to Gaza, where he does shifts at a hospital to maintain lis medical licence. He will be staying there to help save lives, but Canadian Consulate staff have managed to make arrangements to get the little girl home.
