1. B.C. ghost town for sale

For just $995,000 you can own the entire town. The townsite of Bradian, B.C. - just four hours from Vancouver, is up for sale.

That's 22 buildings on 50 acres two hours from Whistler.

The town has power, phone lines and roads and access to the Cadwallader and Blackbird creeks.

According to a website posting by realtor John Lovelace, the area receives an abundance of snow in the colder months, making it a bit of a winter paradise for motorized sledders.

2. First, snow pile, now floods.

Winnipeg has not had much luck with weather this year.

It rained and it poured on Thursday afternoon in Winnipeg, when about an entire month's worth of rain — 50-70 mm — fell in a short period of time.

Here's hoping for a nice Fall for our Winnipeg friends.

3. Big trouble in paradise.

Mariah Carey's husband Nick Cannon revealing has confirmed reports suggesting the couple has separated, revealing they have been living apart for months.

He refused to go into specifics but dismissed rumours that infidelity was to blame for the marriage breakdown.

The couple wed in 2008 after a whirlwind courtship.

4. Not done with Donald Sterling, yet.

V. Stiviano has reportedly filed new documents in her legal battle with Donald Sterling’s wife, Shelly, claiming the former Los Angeles Clippers owner is gay and he paid her to pretend to be his mistress..

According to TMZ, Stiviano argues that Sterling gave her gifts in exchange for being his “beard” – a person of the opposite sex paid to date someone in order to conceal their homosexuality – and the two never had sex.
