An American photographer has created some stunning images by stunning his subjects with Taser guns while taking their portraits.
For the art project, each person was stunned by a friend or significant other, photographer Patrick Hall wrote on a FStoppers.com post.
"The emotions on both sides of the Taser were extremely entertaining to watch. The person getting (stunned) was almost always nervous and jittery with either a sense of fear or anxiety. The participants (using the stun guns) had a different demeanour altogether. Most of them were excited to cause pain to their friend and only showed remorse immediately after executing the shock," the Charleston, S.C., photographer said.
"Some people screamed while others were quiet. A few people looked like they were experiencing pleasure while others had the most painful faces I've ever seen," he wrote.
Comments on a YouTube video about the project included those who found the photo shoot interesting and others who called it sick and sadistic.
